Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the ChatGPT → Google Drive Logger browser extension, published under the Altronis brand. The extension enables users to save their ChatGPT conversations directly into their personal Google Drive.
Data Collection & Usage
- No personal data is collected, stored, or transmitted to Altronis or any third party.
- All conversation content remains on the user’s local machine and is only written into their own Google Drive, under a folder named ChatGPT Logs.
- OAuth authentication is used solely to obtain permission to create and update files in the user’s Google Drive.
Permissions
The extension requests the following Google Drive scopes:
drive.file– allows creating and updating files created by this extension only.drive.appdata– allows storing small metadata needed for file mapping.
These permissions are required strictly for saving and updating conversation logs in the user’s Drive.
Third Parties
No data is shared with Altronis or any third-party service providers. All interactions happen directly between the extension and Google APIs, under the user’s account.
User Control
Users may disconnect the extension at any time by:
- Revoking access in their Google Account security settings.
- Uninstalling the extension from Chrome.
- Deleting any files or folders the extension has created in Google Drive.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated occasionally. Any changes will be reflected on this page.
